Spare Parts
The GLSand machine has specialised internal components which are made from high tech abrasion resistant materials which eventually need replacing. These parts are readily available to purchase from Glass to Sand Ltd. The parts must be installed by a factory approved service technician or anyone deemed competent by Glass to Sand Ltd.
The consumable items and indicative life are as follows.
• Hammer Crushers - 50,000 bottles
• Main Screen - 20,000 bottles
• Top screen shroud - 40,000 bottles
• Main Bearing -50,000 bottles
• Buckets – available as required. Only use the Expleco Bucket
These are average component life spans. You may get a longer life from some components. It depends on the thickness of bottles being crushed. If in doubt contact your supplier or Expleco.
The consumable kit is the most cost-effective way of buying spares we have discounted the kit and offer free postage with the consumable kit.
